The Haven Collective exists to provide a safe and supportive space where individuals, couples, and families can heal, grow, and thrive. Through counseling, empowerment programs, and wellness initiatives, we are committed to guiding people through transformation—helping them embrace wholeness, strengthen relationships, and walk confidently in their purpose.

Method

At The Haven Collective, our approach combines evidence-based psychological therapies with faith-based wisdom to support healing and growth. We use methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy to provide practical tools for change. At the same time, we integrate biblical principles and spiritual guidance, creating a holistic framework that addresses mind, body, and spirit. This unique blend allows clients to explore their challenges through both clinical strategies and spiritual renewal. Our goal is to create a safe, empowering space where transformation becomes possible and sustainable.

Dr. Jennifer holds a Ph.D. in Counseling & Psychological Studies with a concentration in Marriage and Family Ministry from Regent University, where her research and program development focused on trauma, resilience, and faith integration.

 

She earned a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from Ashford University, graduating Cum Laude. She also holds a Graduate Certificate in Systemic Couple and Family Therapy from Capella University (4.0 GPA) and a Graduate Certificate in Life Coaching and Mental Health and Wellness, with an emphasis in Community Health Administration, from Grand Canyon University.

 

Dr. Jennifer’s strong academic foundation in psychological theory, research methods, and evidence-based practice is thoughtfully integrated with spiritual insight, allowing her to guide individuals, couples, and families toward emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being.

Therapy

Dr. Jennifer is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate (LMFTA, License #A311) in the state of Alabama, practicing under the supervision of Rhonda Stalb, LMFT (#L478) & AAMFT Approved Supervisor (ID #130229). She earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Liberty University, where she trained in individual, couples, and family counseling. Her clinical practice emphasizes trauma-informed care, relational healing, and personal growth. Jennifer’s approach combines professional therapeutic models with compassion and faith-based principles to create a safe, holistic environment for transformation.

Expertise

Dr. Jennifer specializes in working with individuals, couples, and families through a trauma-informed and faith-integrated lens. Her areas of expertise include identity development, relationship enrichment, family dynamics, grief and loss, stress and anxiety management, and spiritual growth. She is skilled in applying evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), while also drawing on biblical principles to provide holistic care.

Affiliations

Dr. Jennifer is a dedicated member of both the Alabama Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (ALAMFT) and the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), with a professional emphasis on MFTs working in trauma. She is also a Certified Personal Life Coach, a Certified PREPARE/ENRICH Facilitator, and a Certified SYMBIS Facilitator, equipping her to guide individuals, couples, and families through personal growth, relationship enrichment, and faith-based counseling. These affiliations and certifications reflect Jennifer’s commitment to clinical excellence, relational health, and holistic transformation.

My approach to counseling is holistic, recognizing the connection between mind, body, and spirit in the healing process. I believe true transformation comes from addressing the whole person—not just symptoms or circumstances—through a blend of evidence-based therapy, spiritual principles, and personalized care. Sessions are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, couple, or family, creating space for emotional healing, relational growth, and spiritual renewal. By integrating psychology and faith, I strive to guide clients toward balance, wholeness, and lasting change.

Insurance Accepted

Fees for Services - Out of Pocket Fees/Self Pay (*not covered by insurance)

Individual Psychotherapy $100 for 60 minutes.

Couple/Family Therapy $150-$200 for 60 minutes.

Group Therapy $50 for 60 minutes.

​​I offer a few limited sliding scale opportunities. I am in-network with ComPsych EAP insurance provider. I can provide a Superbill to anyone wanting to claim partial reimbursement for their PPO health plan out of network benefits. Please consult with your insurance provider to ensure you will be reimbursed for services provided before scheduling an appointment. 

I accept cash, check ,Visa and MasterCard as forms of payment.

 

Cancellation Policy

A 24-HOUR NOTICE MUST be given for any rescheduling and/or cancellations. A FULL session fee charge will be ENFORCED if a 24-HOUR NOTICE is not given for reschedules, cancellations, and for no call/no shows. Thank you for your cooperation.
